Restore Support Network is a small registered charity. We are currently encountering a growing number of older people in Dorset who are hitting hard times with their lives spiraling out of control. Far too many are afraid to ask for help until it is too late and end up in court. Some are receiving short custodial sentences of a few months and have to face the same problems when they leave prison, including no accommodation. Others have no food or clothing of their own when released from prison to see them through the first few weeks. We urgently need warm clothing, especially men’s, in good condition with winter approaching. A donation of £10 would also help us put together a toiletry bag and purchase underclothing or food to last the first two days. Caroline Hatlem Olsen and I would be only too pleased to tell you more about our work. We will also be recruiting more volunteer befrienders and care support workers early in 2020.
