Artist Sasha Constable, working with the Cerne community over two weekends in April will build and then install a 12m Dragon made with willow on the Red Bridge in Cerne on the 23r April – St Georges Day. Inspired by Professor Strang’s research, the Dragon has been embellished into a transforming female Dragon who perhaps at some point in time was the mate of the venerable Cerne Giant. The Cerne Giant Dragon will be installed for the duration of the Giant festival giving rise and empowering the Giant to join forces in the
cleansing and protection of the Cerne River.
