A talk at the Village Hall given by Chris
Copson. The subject of his talk will be
Dorset’s Iron Age Hillforts, a subject on
which Chris can claim to be something
of an expert having been involved in
archaeological digs at Maiden Castle and
elsewhere. Dorset is home to more Iron
Age hillforts than any other Bri sh county,
many of which are considered to be
among the most important, and largest,
in Europe.
