Thursday October 27th Cerne Valley Community Landscape Project

Thursday October 27th Cerne Valley Community Landscape Project

Today the Cerne Valley Landscape Conservation group will be working on Black Hill above Cerne Abbas. A fantastic site for butterflies, it regularly needs attention to stop the scrub spreading out over the valuable downland. We will be cutting and burning scrub and also brushcutting the regrowth from last year’s work.

Meet at the parking area off Piddle Lane at 8.30 or else phone 07981 776767 to find us if you arrive later. Bring lunch, a mug for hot drinks and your working gloves.
